What makes the gospel truly “Good News” to the people you are trying to reach?
Description
Developing a Gospel Message That Is Good News will help you rediscover the gospel as the good news of God’s reign and explore how Jesus applied it to real human needs. You will examine why the gospel is only experienced as Good News when it speaks to people’s felt needs, and how this principle applies in ministry today.
In this course, you will learn how to communicate the kingdom gospel in ways that connect meaningfully across diverse cultural and religious contexts. You will also be guided through a simple, practical process for shaping messages that resonate deeply with the communities you serve.
Designed for disciple-makers and movement catalysts, this course equips you to communicate the gospel with clarity, relevance, and biblical faithfulness.
During this course, you will:
- Evaluate whether your gospel message is truly Good News or perceived as irrelevant
- Rediscover the biblical foundation of the Kingdom of God
- Understand a holistic gospel that addresses felt needs
- Learn practical approaches for engaging people from diverse religious backgrounds, including Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and animist contexts
- Develop the skill of listening to understand before communicating
